About the project:
The Care Crew, a social service club I founded during my time at IPM (Integrated program in Management, Manipal), showcases my passion for being useful to my community. This initiative, spanning a few impactful months, focused on empowering those in need through various activities.

In this project, I managed a team of more than 20 members and lead them in various social works like donation drives, beach clean-ups, feeding the needy, teaching under priviliged students. A lot of thought and planning went into organizing such activities so that everyone involved in them can grow and benefit from them.

Work we did:

Donation Drives:
We organized donation drives to collect essential items for underprivileged communities.

Beach Cleanups:
We championed environmental responsibility by organizing beach cleanups, fostering a culture of sustainability.

Free Online Tutoring:
Recognizing the importance of education, we provided free online tutoring services, bridging the knowledge gap.

Awareness about important topics: Through our instagram, we spread awareness about many important topics like mental health, cleanliness, etc. through interactive posts.

Key Learnings & Personal Growth:

Leadership:
The Care Crew provided me with valuable leadership experience, as I spearheaded project planning, team coordination, and volunteer mobilization.

Task planning and Time Management:
Effectively juggling academic commitments with the club's activities honed my time management skills, allowing me to prioritize tasks and maximize impact.
