About the project:
This section dives deeper into my first project at Marketeephy, "Dusk Till Dawn," co-founded with my best friend Abdul. It showcases our collaborative approach and ability to deliver comprehensive digital marketing solutions to our first ever client. In this project, Abdul was responsible for Shooting videos and photos, and creating video ads using the marterial. I was responsible for client communication, digital ads, static ad deisgn, etc. among other things.
During our tenure we were able to spread awareness about Dusk Till Dawn restaurant to over 100k people local to manipal through our online and offline advances, substantially increasing the number of dine-in coustomers as well as orders on platforms like Swiggy and Zomato.
We implemented a multi-faceted strategy to address the client's needs:
Digital Advertising:
We created and managed targeted digital ads to reach a wider audience online.
Branding Refresh:
We collaborated with the client to refine their brand identity, potentially including menu design and also offered them a fresh visual ways to showcase themsleves on instagram in terms of colour palates, fonts, etc.
Menu Optimization:
Menu Research:
We conducted thorough research to understand customer preferences, competitor offerings, and current menu performance especially among the student crowd in Manipal (by interviewing students in manipal).
Menu Redesign:
Utilizing the research insights, we redesigned the menu to enhance customer appeal and potentially streamline ordering options.
Delivery & Combo Strategies:
We explored delivery options and suggested new combo offerings to cater to different customer needs and budgets. For example, Manipal students preferred combo meals under Rs. 150 and the peak hours for them to order was from 8 PM to 11 PM.
Marketing Campaign:
We developed a comprehensive marketing campaign encompassing both online and offline elements to amplify the restaurant's presence:
Online Marketing:
Leveraging social media marketing on facebook and Instagram, we promoted the revamped brand and menu. We also gave student friendly discounts to enhance footfall.
Offline Marketing:
We suggested offline tactics like special discounts on following Dusk Till Dawn on Social Media, Offline Posters and Pop-up stalls in fests and events to further solidify the brand's presence in the student community.
Photography and videography:
We also contributed to the project by capturing high-quality food photography and videograpbhy to showcase the menu items in an appealing way but most importantly to create digital ads.
