About the project:
I did this project in two times with differing domain names: The Diver's World and Scuba Diving Pal. In this project I learnt all about affiliate marketing, website designing, SEO (on page and offpage), and much more by actually implementing it in real life. Unfortunately, I have very few images for this extremely comprehensive project and no images of the websites at all. All the links and images I could find are linked here.

Learnings:

Keyword and competitor Research:
I actively utilized tools like Google Search Console, Google Trends, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Similarweb to conduct thorough keyword and competitor research, identifying relevant search terms with high potential for organic traffic.

Content Creation & Optimization:
Leveraging my content writing skills, I crafted informative and engaging website content optimized for search engines, ensuring content aligned with the target audience's needs.

Technical SEO & Analytics:
I implemented basic technical SEO best practices and familiarized myself with Google Analytics to track website traffic and measure the effectiveness of SEO efforts.

Affiliate Marketing:
I learnt affiliate marketing and how to do it using content online. I was an affiliate partner for the following companies: SCUBAPRO, House of Scuba, Custom Dive Logs, Amazon

Instagram Managemnt:
I curated and created content for Instagram and gained over 500 followers.

Merch:
I designed and promoted Scuba diving Merch with the help of TeeSprings Platform.

Project Evolution & Learning Curve:

Independent Exploration:
The initial Scuba Diving Pal project served as a valuable learning ground for me to experiment with SEO strategies independently.

Structured Learning with Project 24:
In The Diver's World project, I enrolled in Project 24 by Income School, a structured course that provided a comprehensive SEO learning framework.

Investment Considerations:
The project highlighted the importance of financial investments for Scuba divers. Realising that my content would not be as helpful if I was not a Scuba Diver myself despite my interest in the subject, I had to halt the project.
